Lola's on tour

Hellzapoppin' Lola has been chosen for this year's Council House Open Art Exhibition! From 7th February - 1st April the Plymouth's Council House is showcasing the work of selected local artists. See some examples of other selected artist's work shown below.

It's really great to see some contemporary work being celebrated in Plymouth, I'm looking forward to meeting other artists at the private view on Friday 28th February. I have also been selected to talk about my artwork at one of the lunchtime talks on Wednesday 26th February 12 - 1. The talks will be the perfect opportunity not only to check out the incredible retro decor inside the listed council building but to hear first hand what has inspired the artist's featured. Hurrah! We are finally doing an event in sunny Plymouth! This promises to be a day of jam packed vintage fun with creative stalls, fashion shows, cupcakes and retro clothing. With our new goodies created from our La Belle Menagerie exhibition artwork we are really looking forward to getting our glad rags on and selling our wares, hope to see you there!

If you haven't picked up anything to show your Ma how wonderful she is yet come down to The Thistle Hotel, Exeter tomorrow for the Crikey Mother it's Vintage Fair. 

We have new stock, yipee, including new greetings cards (we're now stocking all our fabulous blank artists cards as well as Mother's Day, Birthdays and more); some great new BurlyQ themed postcards from Diane Foster's new print collection and we also have favourites such as The Pearl mirror back in stock. 

Can't wait for another great event we're looking forward to dusting off the vintage gladrags. Come and have a chat with us! x
