I was really delighted to be commissioned for Baileys' Father's Day social media campaign. The brief's aim was to paint an image that conveyed a moment between Father and Daughter; it was really great to use my watercolour paints again and a real challenge. This image was featured on across their social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram.

Dancing Urchins
These dancehall urchins have swapped dancing around their handbags for dancing around their heads. I drew these just in time for Halloween, eventually I would like to screenprint these for some great textures. Happy spooking everyone!

She Walks in Beauty
Commissioned illustration of Lord Byron's 1814 poem 'She Walks in Beauty'
Original painting in watercolour and gouache, lettering hand rendered in black ink.
The client's daughter had recently purchased one of my watercolour burlesque drawings and was interested in owning more Marmalade artwork for her home. As a birthday surprise her mother commissioned me to illustrate her favourite poem.

Shelter
My submission for the third Pylon Press zine. The theme given was "Shelter", this drawing is inspired by my Mom who as a shy little girl used to hide under skirts in the kitchen.

Straw skirt
Made this as a quick teaching demo for my Intermediate Illustration evening class; we were experimenting with mark making and collage. What started out as a learning experiment ended up looking pretty exciting so think I'll be working with this process again soon.

The Devil's Music
Drawings of Blues musicians from the 1970's music documentary 'The Devil's Music'.
It has been ages and ages since I posted new drawings on here, a few months ago I used this amazing documentary as a starting point for my sketchbook. It also inspired me to start to attempt to play the ukelele and sing/wail in my kitchen.
